I recently wrote about the movie Chef and why it resonated with me so much. During its closing credits, the song West Coast Poplock (video) by Ronnie Hudson plays. I haven't been able to get it out of my head in weeks following my watching of the movie. Looking for this song also led me to find another gem, Cold Wind Madness (video) by Ice-T, both tracks minor hits of the early 80s.
Some songs just have a way of sticking, the same way one will most likely remember Lady Gaga's crazy outfit and antics rather than The Boss' plain t-shirt-and-denim outfit. Sorry Springsteen, but Lady G is way more memorable, owing to her outlandish appearance.
It got me thinking, what if you could say something when you first meet a client that they would remember forever? We've all encountered someone at some point who said something so transformative that we never forgot it.
What do you think that thing is?
I know for sure that it's not:
