Facebook has become an all too easy target to beat to death, seeing as they have a knack for doing and saying things that makes them look like moronic, emotionless robots.
A while back, Zuck uttered the titular statement about people who decide to move out of the uber-expensive Bay Area in order to stretch their salary dollars (details here). Threats always go a long way in inducing compliance... It speaks volumes about the culture of Facebook.
I'll let you draw your own conclusions about the whole idea and how that might affect their culture in the long term.
