H. Jon Benjamin's face may not evoke anything to you. He looks just like a normal guy who could be your next-door neighbour.
His voice, however, is anything but commonplace and you're much more likely to know it, especially if you're into adult cartoons. With credits like Archer and Bob's Burgers to his name, among many, many others, you're bound to have heard it before, it's a strange mix of buttery and gravelly, but certainly unmistakable.
Benjamin, now a superstar voice artist, started as a comedian and released a memoir called "Failure is an option: an attempted memoir". Obviously the theme of the book - constant failure - is completely and utterly tongue-in-cheek, but as far as autobiographies are concerned, this one might very well be 100% made-up but the narration alone makes it hilarious and the stories within it are a delightful account of how Benjamin's half-ass demeanour enabled him to "fail up" in life.
I rarely laughed that much while listening to anything, let alone an audiobook, naturally narrated by the author, because who else could it be.
