I'll be the first to admit that I can write stuff that's serious and intense at times. Therefore, on Fridays I'll be featuring something more lighthearted, fun or creative, so we can all end the week on a high note. Have a great weekend!
I've been a fan of Folon's dreamy, colourful and surreal illustrations for as long as I can remember. What I didn't know is that he was commissioned by Apple, in the early days of the Macintosh, to create a character, aptly named "Mr Macintosh" that would live inside their computers' OS and pop up randomly from time to time.
While that idea did not end up being implemented, that would probably have been the greatest easter egg of all time.
While there is little evidence of Mr. Macintosh's existence left, you can find solace in the rest of Folon's equally creative body of work, who was very prolific.
