I'll be the first to admit that I can write stuff that's serious and intense at times. Therefore, on Fridays I'll be featuring something more lighthearted, fun or creative, so we can all end the week on a high note. Have a great weekend!
I recently heard on Rogan's podcast about Jackie Gleason's house in upstate New York that was designed to be shaped like a UFO.
I looked it up and was not disappointed. Designed by Robert Cika, it still looks very fresh to this day and was recently for sale at $12M USD.
It turns out it's not the alien-looking house out there. Robert Oshatz is an architect that seems to specialized in futuristic, non-cartesian architecture. Love it or hate it, his work is worth checking out and cannot be faulted for being unoriginal, which most contemporary architecture is.
