In times where positive news and thoughts are hard to come by, I have retreated to books to get my fix. One unshakeably positive entrepreneur that has come on my radar is Richard Branson. I have always had an interest in this unstoppable force but never took the time to learn more about him and his life.
His short book "Screw it, let's do it" is a great primer into this entrepreneurial genius' mind not only to learn more about his life but more importantly the lessons gleaned from his "screw it, let's do it" approach to business.
While he's not generated the kind of wealth that Bezos, Zuckerberg or Musk have been, his uncanny ability to reliably and consistently enter an industry he knows nothing about and forcing it to transform by out-competing everyone is what's fascinating. To me and others, he's the epitome of the entrepreneur.
